BOGOSLOVSKY ALUMINUM WILL TRY OUT CERTIFICATION FOR SUAL GROUP
Russian companies seeking a significant value worldwide, appreciate the importance of international certification based on independent auditing. A certificate demonstrates to business partners and customers that the company has attained a required level of development and looks forward to further growth, consequently it may be trusted. It is how Technical Director of BAZ-SUAL Evgeny Lipukhin appraises the main content of large-scale certification in the Russian metals industry.


    For the last decade a wave of introducing ISO 9000 standards rolled on Russian enterprises. A wish to introduce standards was differently motivated. Some were forced by customers, others understood that successful development of their companies outside this system was impossible or just fell for fashion as all around were doing it.
    In course of time however the interest did not die out but increased. International standards for ecological management (ISO 14000), management of occupational health and safety (OHSAS 18000), and social responsibility (SA 8000) appeared in Russia’s metals sector along with some other tools for company’s activities to be improved.
